I always have a great experience at La Rancherita. Food always tastes good and service is amazing and quick! My favorite in town!
Always a great fresh meal. La Rancherita has been a main stay for my family since it opened in Apex long ago (guessing 2 decades-ish.) Service is fast and friendly. Food always arrive hot. The "ask for it hot salsa" is spicy and my favorite for restaurants in this category. Over the years the walls have been painted, textured, murals put up, expansion to a party room in the back. I love this place in downtown Apex.
Lunch service was quick and easy. The menus was appealing. The food was a healthy option for a chilly day. The atmosphere was still quiet and pleasant.
Dinner with a friend on a weekday night at 6:30pm! We were seated right away and had speedy service. The food was great! My friend got the Rancherita Bowl and I tried the Chicken Enchiladas! Both were excellent. We split an order of queso and the chips were fresh and crisp! This Mexican restaurant is great and located in the cute downtown of Apex! Lots of shops to explore and a Fresh Ice cream right across the street!
Nice interior in downtown Apex. Quick and friendly service. Although I did have to ask for the salsa to go with my chips. The food was very tasty. I really enjoyed my Alambre ACP. Will have to try some of their other dishes.
We decided to try this restaurant located on the strip of down town apex as we had heard some decent reviews. The service was decent and we did not have to wait long to place an order or for our food to be brought to us. The food was good. Chicken for the bowl was a little dry. Serving size was decent. Overall not a bad causal spot to grab a quicker lunch or dinner.
Went here on a date night with my boyfriend and it was great! Our waitress was very nice and the inside area was so cute. It's actually way bigger than it looks from the outside, and even with many of the tables full, it wasn't too loud at all. We had a great time and the menu is huge with TONS of options! They also have a few gluten free options, as long as you let your server know. Some gluten free options include the La Rancherita bowl, Fajitas if you sub corn tortillas and ACP (which is what I got! Delicious, of course). The complimentary chips and salsa were hot and delicious. Our food also came out FREAKISHLY fast. Like, no joke, 5 minutes after we ordered our entrees, they were at our table. This freaked me out a little because I know it means most of it was already ready/ most likely not high quality BUT it was delicious and didn't upset my stomach at all. I got the kids ACP and it was a perfect portion! Definitely found a new favorite place in Downtown Apex (location is great! right on the downtown strip area). Will be coming back for sure, which says a lot because I am very picky about finding a truly good mexican place.
La Rancherita is definitely our favorite Mexican restaurant. It's located in beautiful downtown Apex. Service is superb. The menu offers a very large range of options and the food is served hot and very very flavorful. The chips and salsa are both packed with flavor and fresh!
